Musical influences: Vince's sound is a combination of flamenco, Jazz, and folk. Guitar styles with a dash of hip-hop rhythm. Influenced by great guitar players and vocalist such as Al Jarreau, George Benson, Keb Mo, Kim, Wes Montgomery. Emotion, whether straightforward or understated is what Vince is all about. His lyrics reflect the world that we live in and are thought-provoking and heartfelt. There is obviously some pain‚ with the joy of life, and that's what I hope to portray.
Musical history: Vince toured with Up with People and then attended the Berklee College of Music, learning from‚ and working with some of the world‚ most accomplished musicians, producers, and songwriters. He moved to Minneapolis where he worked with many talented artists and musicians‚ and then, after returning home to Denver, he began working with Danny Seraphine, After receiving an endorsement from D'Addario‚ strings and achieving the 11th spot on AC Gavin charts, Vince Johnsons‚ music is best described as Funk Folk.

Additional information: Vince has written for MTV, other local artists, and had songs placed on TV shows such as, All My Children and One Life to Live while completing his degree at the University of Colorado at Denver in MIS (Music Industry Studies). He is also a music therapist teaching 6th grade to elderly adults with psychological and emotional issues.
